Each and every year, the JHC Legacy Event recognizes “trailblazing” business and civic leaders. These are individuals who stand out within their community by making a difference. It is held in Oakland, California, and is attended by hundreds. In 2018, William Rosetti of San Francisco, CA was recognized with an award.

 

William Rosetti of San Francisco CA holds this event near and dear to his heart. Not only was he an award recipient in 2018, but he also chooses to attend every year. It’s his way of acknowledging everyone’s hard work to improve the San Francisco Bay Area.

 

In addition to William Rosetti of San Francisco, CA receiving an award, others have included Dr. Joel Parrott with the Conservative Society of California and Denise Pinkston of TMG Partners.

 

One of the reasons why William Rosetti of San Francisco CA was awarded by the JHC Legacy Event is because of his work with the Jobs and Housing Coalition. He started CRC development as a way to renovate and improve properties throughout Oakland – both residential and commercial. It was one of the ways he was able to offer more affordable housing.

He also founded the Coalition for Better Housing, recognizing that too many people were living in homes that were structurally unsound and too high above market value. William Rosetti of San Francisco CA is dedicated to his community and serves on a number of boards and foundations, including the Board of Enterprise for Youth and the Youth Tennis Association.

 

Each year, the JHC Legacy Event chooses a few business and civic leaders to honor. The event takes place on the grounds of the Oakland Museum of California. Some of the leaders and elected officials from the area are in attendance. In one year, Governor Gavin Newsom was even a featured speaker.

 

The Jobs and Housing Coalition that William Rosetti of San Francisco, CA is a part of establishing the JHC Legacy Event as a way to ensure that there is more spotlight on the good that is happening around the city. The nonprofit consists of some top senior executives of companies based in the area. The Coalition works to offer quality housing, create better jobs, and provide great retail all throughout the area.

 

While William Rosetti of San Francisco, CA works hard to make the area better to live, work, and play, he is not alone in his endeavors. It is one of the reasons why the Legacy Event is so near and dear to his heart. The tickets to the annual event are one of the nonprofit’s biggest fundraisers of the year.
